Over the past few years, I’ve seen firsthand how this program gives students a deeper understanding of the issues they care about, introduces them to new communities and ways of thinking, and inspires them to solve tough challenges.
Students have traveled to every corner of the globe during their Summer Voyages–Tunisia, Sweden, Indonesia, and Bolivia, to name just a few–focusing on issues from climate change to gender equity to public health.
But the benefits of participating in the Voyager Scholarship for Public Service don’t begin and end with the summer experience. Students receive up to
$25,000 per year in “last dollar” financial aid for their junior and senior years of college,
10 years of Airbnb travel credit following graduation, the opportunity to connect at an
in-person summit during their junior year, and a rich
network of leaders and mentors to help them excel.
This program exposes students to new communities and empowers them with the tools necessary to be leaders and bridge builders ready to tackle some of our world’s toughest challenges, and I hope you’ll help me get the word out before the deadline to apply on April 1.
