Right now, on the South Side of Chicago, something extraordinary is rising.

The Obama Presidential Center is taking shape—not just through steel and stone on a 19.3-acre campus, but through the hands and hearts of dedicated construction workers, many of whom live right in the community. These are skilled builders, tradespeople, and visionaries helping create a place rooted in purpose, dignity, inclusivity, and pride. And, supporters like you are helping us bring it to life.

But let’s be clear: we’re building more than a building. We’re building a future. We’re laying down the foundation for hope.

We’re creating a global hub for change—a place that will empower the next generation of leaders to write their bold, inclusive futures. It will be a place where thousands of young people from around the world will gather, learn, and return home ready to serve their neighborhoods, their countries, and their communities.

The Obama Presidential Center is revitalizing a historic public park, bringing a programs and athletic center and a new branch of the Chicago Public Library to the community, and serving as a catalyst for economic development that is projected to generate $3 billion in new economic activity in Cook County over ten years.
