Hi there, Happy International Day of the Girl! Every year, this day offers us a dedicated moment to celebrate the promise, talent, and determination inherent in every girl in our world. So today, I’m celebrating the extraordinary leaders and organizations in our Girls Opportunity Alliance Network, who are working to help break down the barriers that too many girls around the world still face.
Today, the Girls Opportunity Alliance is proud to announce that it’s providing $2.5 million in new support for 54 grassroots organizations that are empowering girls around the world. From working to end child marriage to expanding access to education, these organizations are providing vital support to girls in 28 countries, including Uganda, Indonesia, and Colombia.
