The Obama Presidential Center—a space where people of all ages and backgrounds can join together to build our shared future—is becoming a reality. And we want you to be part of the celebration starting June 18. | | | Eleven years ago today, President Obama honored the 50th anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery marches with his "You are America" address—an excerpt of which is memorialized on the side of the Museum Building, welcoming visitors and reminding us of the power of collective action. This is the spirit we're bringing to the Center, starting with our Grand Opening.
