In March, students from Hyde Park Academy visited the Chicago Bears headquarters as part of this year’s Futures Series. At this session, the students heard from President and CEO of the Bears Kevin Warren and his team about careers they could pursue in the sports industry.
Over the summer, we celebrated a huge milestone in the construction of The Obama Presidential Center–the Museum Building reached its full height of 225 feet! President Obama joined the construction crew to sign one of the final beams of the building.
We also had a great time participating in several parades and neighborhood festivals with our Chicago community throughout the summer.
Earlier this month, The Obama Foundation hosted our third annual Democracy Forum, bringing together experts and cultural leaders to discuss how we can make meaningful change in our increasingly diverse and divided world. We’re looking forward to continuing and expanding this work in 2025, but that isn’t possible without help from people like you. Our end-of-year fundraising deadline is coming up and right now all donations are being matched. Consider making a donation now to have your gift go twice as far.
