This program is deeply personal to me. When I was growing up, the classroom was one of the first places that helped me find my voice. I learned a lot in school—my multiplication tables, how to structure a paragraph—but also how to raise my hand, push myself, and speak my mind.

I believe that every girl on the planet deserves those same opportunities to pursue her education and her dreams. That's why our program works to:

• Connect leaders and strengthen their impact with a growing community of 4,000 grassroots organization leaders—from Chicago to Vietnam—dedicated to adolescent girls’ education and empowerment.
• Inspire action and commitments globally by supporting grassroots organizations that break down critical barriers for girls.
• Empower adolescent girls to learn and take action by offering new opportunities to help girls learn and grow.
