| World-renowned Chef Cliff Rome fell in love with cooking in his grandmother’s kitchen on Chicago’s South Side, and next year, he’ll bring his talents to the Obama Presidential Center!
Visitors to the Center’s cafe and restaurant will be able to enjoy dishes crafted with local, ethically sourced ingredients that reflect the South Side’s culture and history.

Chef Rome started out in the foodservice industry as a dishwasher, and over the last three decades, he’s gone on to cook in kitchens around the world, open a beloved restaurant in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood, and start a company that provides catering services.
Now, he’s gearing up for a partnership with Bon Appetit Management Company to bring high-quality local flavors to the Center’s cafe, restaurant, and private event catering.
