In honor of Pride Month:

This Pride Month, we’re uplifting those in our community who are continuing the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights in every corner of the world.

Gavin Chow, from Malaysia; Ray Lopez Chang, from California; and Alan Wu, from Australia, are three Obama Leaders who are pushing for better mental health care, legal rights, and the freedom to live openly for LGBTQIA+ people in their communities.

Founded in 2016, PLUHO has pioneered and led several community initiatives and services addressing the systemic oppression faced by LGBTQIA+ communities in Malaysia. PLUHO is working to change the status quo in Malaysia through advocacy, awareness building, and community support.
