This week, I’ve been thinking a lot about you and our work together, so I wanted to reach out.
There is a lot of work ahead, but at this time, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support of The Obama Foundation in our pursuit of a better, more hopeful future. Right now, one thing is clear: the work we’re doing together has never been more urgent.
Nor has there ever been a better time to commit to the audacity of hope. Hope requires boldness against those who say we can’t work together to build a shared future. Hope requires ignoring the conventional wisdom of a culture that tells us we can’t be hopeful. Hope requires resilience.
Fostering a more inclusive, resilient society requires all of us to meet people where they are and build bridges to find common ground. It won’t be easy, but that is the work of The Obama Foundation. We’re ready to redouble our efforts because the future we want depends on the actions we take today.
Your dedication to uplifting young leaders and fostering unity across communities reminds me that real, lasting change happens when ordinary people do extraordinary things.
